Scrapbook layout on canvas

Here is a scrapbook layout placed on a piece of canvas. I am trying to come up with an inexpensive idea for parents day. We would make one for each student to give to there parents. Once again I used the Tim Holtz tattered floral die. I also used the new Martha Stewart doily maker punch.

scraplifting challenge

So I decided that when I received a crafting magazine I would make the cards/projects I liked the best. Of course just using the design. I think it is called scraplifting. So here is card 1 found on page 24 of the paper crafts magazine from issue March/April 2013. I marked 10 cards from this issue. It is time to get busy!

Hexagon embossing folder card

Here is a cute card! I used the hexagon embossing folder for the white background. I then embossed patterned paper and cut out the hexagons. I then put two flags on the right side. Next I stamped Happy Birthday and punched it out with the hexagon duo punch and layered it on the larger hexagon.
This is where I saw the design of the card.

I made these cute water bottle tag holders! I made Valentine tags to put in the inside. I also put the bracelets in the tag holder. I made oreo cookie truffles (sorry no picture) for my coworkers and gave them the water bottle gift. Here is a link on how to make the water bottle tag.

Using Stampin' up products!

I wanted to make a card using my new Stanpin' up products. The pattern paper is from the paisley petals pack. I matched it with marina mist paper. I also used the cajun craze striped ribbon and ink. Using Stampin' up takes out all the guess work on matching the colors.

While in California we spent time with family. We visited the San Juan Capistrano Mission. The picture was taken at the end of the day in Starbucks.

Christmas 2012

Back to scrapbooking for me. I haven't designed a page in two years. We celebrated Christmas in San Diego with Monique and Bobby. Julius met us there (he is going to school in TX). We had a great time and I thought let me get these pictures down on paper. I still have other pictures to scrapbook. It took me forever to do these two pages. Hopefully the next scrapbook pages will be easier for me.
