Apple and Spinach Salad

I was in a recipe card swap. We picked weight watcher recipes. I found this recipe and made the salad. I really liked it! So I thought I would show you the recipe card and the salad I made. Remember all of my scrapbook supplies are in storage, so I had to be creative when putting the recipe card together. I liked how it turned out, but I am missing my supplies.

First project in Miami

Ok I couldn't sit for long. Most of my friends here work full time, so I am going crazy.


My sister n laws birthday is in Aug. so I thought I would make her a birthday banner.

I went to the store to buy paper (cuz everything is in storage). Then it hit me I don't have my cricut to cut out

the letters. So, guess what I thought of? I went to the $ store and bought a b-day banner and cut it apart. I bought matching paper

and started on my banner. The banner I bought was for princess' they had several banners to choose from.

I then bought a packet of princess stickers. This is what I did so far.

I will continue tomorrow. I haven't attached her name yet, I'm still thinking about it.

I am so missing crafting

I have been missing for a while. I found out on April 4th that I would be moving to Miami FL. I started packing that day and never stopped. We moved on May 27th and everything went into storage. I have to wait for my house to sell in TX before we buy a house here in Miami. So everything is in storage until then. So that chucnky ATC I posted was the last thing I worked on. I can't wait to unpack all my crafty stuff. I think we counted a total of 50 boxes. Talk to you soon

Chunky ATC

I am in a chunky atc swap with my Pennywise Arts group
This is my first time making a chunky atc. I decorated a piece of wood the size of an atc 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".
It will go in the mail this week. I hardly ever like what I make, but I have to say I like this one! Check back after April 15th to see the chunky atc I receive.

Here is a Birthday card I made for my friend Debbie. I used stampin up paper! The patterend paper is from the Ice Cream Parlor pack. The solid paper is old olive and peach parfait.

This is the first card I made using Stampin' up products. I definitely need practice, so lucky for me I bought several items to play with. This Birthday card was for my sister!

Valentine page layout swap

I belong to the txscrappinchicks yahoo group. I am participating in a valentine page layout swap. I made a pocket with a tag. I will make 5 pocket tags and get back 5 different items for a page LO. You can find the direction for the envelope pocket tag here.

recipe box

Terry hosted the craft group meeting this month. The project she picked was to alter cigar boxes. Ody donated several cigar boxes for us to use. I did take one and will alter it later. I had this recipe box sitting around for quite a while, so I decided to decorate/alter it. Inside my recipe box are different techniques used for paper crafting. So I guess I should add the word techniques somewhere on the box. I am just excited I finished the box! Below are two altered Cigar boxes. The top altered cigar box was made by Nancy. She used a variety of gold buttons. The bottom altered cigar box was made by Terry. She used silver buttons. I just love what they did.

A book I made at the Savvy Sampler!

Take a look at this cute book I made. I went to Scrapp'n Savvy on Friday Jan. 7th.
Karrie held a savvy sampler! At the class we made a page designed by each teacher, 10 in all. You can go here to see the rest of the book. I had so much fun! I signed up for the Likety slip classe taught by Karrie.
